The author

A fire that never goes out

Philippe Roig grew up in the Assemblies of God church in Marseille. After a teenage years marked by suffering and a long inner search, he experienced a life-changing encounter with Jesus Christ that transformed his life. In 2006, he began serving the Lord alongside his wife, Angélique, at the Assembly of God in Vitrolles, working alongside the pastoral couple Charles and Jacqueline Russo. The Lord then led him to other churches—in Nice and Libourne—until he arrived at Marseille la Rose, where he serves today. As a pastor and teacher, he has a deep passion for meditating on and teaching the Word of God.
